High Chrome Casting Steel Ball for Cement Plant
High Chrome Casting Steel Ball is the most suitable grinding media for cement plants. To obtain the best performance in cement mill, Allstar strictly make production for high chrome grinding media ball as per the quality standard as follows.
Heat treatment process:
a) Quenching (Hardening). Heat slowly to a temperature of 900℃ to 1000℃ and hold for 2h to 4h. Quench in oil.
b) Tempering after quenching. Heat slowly to a temperature of 200℃ to 550℃ and hold for a time appropriate to the size. Furnace cool.
2. Hardness of casting grinding steel ball shall be:
a. Balls of size: 60-90mmSurface: 59-66 HRC
Variation in hardness from surface to core not exceed 2 HRC.
b. Balls of size: 15-50mm
Surface: 62-68 HRC
Variation in hardness from surface to core not exceed 2 HRC.
3. The raw materials used to cast the grinding balls is produced from electric furnace.
4. The grinding balls are ensured to be free from injurious defects, such as sand inclusions, blow holes, cracks, pit marks etc.
5. All the grinding balls are uniformly spherical in shape and no appreciable variation between any two balls of same size.
6. The surface of grinding balls are smooth without any projections.
7. The chrome content is fully assured as per clients' requirement.
